Awareness for risk of scams and other cyber and email security threats

Date of Last Revision: September 29, 2022

We would like to draw our customers’ and other stakeholders’ attention to the growing risk of scams and other cyber and email security threats that are affecting many organizations.

We have been informed that a number of people have received phishing emails and messages through the Telegram app and other communication platforms from scammers pretending to work for Aeroclass. The scammers offered to participate in allegedly organized lotteries and to make payments for the benefit of these persons. The scammers have also created fake websites to impersonate our website. These fraudulent actions are in no way affiliated with Aeroclass and should not be regarded as such. Please do not respond or communicate with the imposters in any way, and notify us immediately at [email protected] should you receive the message or email in question.

We take information security very seriously and ask that you also be vigilant in order to prevent fraud and to help protect our common interests. Minimal precaution actions that could be taken after receiving any message from an unconfirmed identity person are:

(i)               confirming the sender’s identity before replying to the email or the message request and before opening attachments or clicking on links, even if they appear to come from a legitimate source;

(ii)              contacting us to validate communications originating from Aeroclass.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may have caused. Rest assured we have taken a swift course of action to ensure that these malicious websites and profiles have been taken down.
